its been a process. It hink i finally have it down though. It is about a 50/50 mixutre of paint thinner to stain with the stain being about a 50/50 of grey and brown. This should be fun. I’m going to do one more finaly test before making the final mixture as this will be a one time chance type of thing to get it right. there really isn’ t any painting over.

this was half of my test samples:

and the final: (it will be something between the two there. The color will directly abut the dark waln ut and the light green spice rack/cabinets so it has to work with both.

I like the brown more than the grey color.
